GMTH International Music Theory Lectures

Die GMTH veranstaltet eine internationale Online-Vortragsreihe, bei der mehrmals im Jahr musiktheoretische Fachvorträge oder Panels mit anschließenden Diskussionen stattfinden. Dabei wird auf Vielfalt der Referent*innen und Themen besonderer Wert gelegt.

Die Vortragsreihe ist aus einer Initiative der AG Internationales der GMTH hervorgegangen und wird von dieser mit Unterstützung des Vorstands organisiert. Inhaltlich verantwortlich sind Dr. Stephan Schönlau (schoenlau.stephan@gmail.com) und Dr. Wendelin Bitzan (info@wendelinbitzan.de).

The GMTH hosts an international online lecture series, including music theory/analysis papers and panels with subsequent discussions, and taking place several times per year. The organisers are committed to ensuring a diverse array of speakers and topics.

The lecture series emerged from an initiative of the GMTH working group for 
international affairs, which is in charge of its realisation, supported by the GMTH board. Responsible members are Dr. Stephan Schönlau (schoenlau.stephan@gmail.com) and Dr. Wendelin Bitzan (info@wendelinbitzan.de).
